A panchang-based guide gives Tuesday 24 November 2026 for Kartik Purnima, with the Purnima tithi running from 11:42 PM on 23 November to 08:23 PM on 24 November (New Delhi time).

Pilgrims bathe at the ghats of Pushkar Lake, such as Brahma Ghat, Varaha Ghat and Gau Ghat, and visit the Brahma temple. In the evening people float lamps and join the aarti. The guide says the fair, known for camel and livestock trading, folk music and cultural events, peaks around this time.
