The event site gives 25 April 2027 as the race date. Its categories include the Open 10K, the Majja Run, a Senior Citizens' Run and a run for Champions with Disability, plus a virtual run.
The site describes the race as the youngest to receive an IAAF Gold Label at the time, and presents it as a celebration of the city's growing running culture. Procam International, which the site says was founded in 1988, organises it.
